Gelisah Malam-Malam

Hai, halo, selamat malam :)

Lama sekali rasanya nggak nulis postingan. Maaf ya, rasanya bener-bener nggak ada waktu buat santai.  

Aku sendiri merasa banyak hal udah berubah dari postingan terakhir. Entah apa itu waktu, pengalaman, passion, apa aja deh. Bagiku mungkin kelihatan baik, tapi yah, rasanya banyak sekali hal yang harus dikorbankan.

Menyenangkan rasanya pada awalnya. Menjadi totally focus on something, konsentrasi meningkat, pekerjaan jadi cepat selesai, marathon pekerjaan jadi lebih mudah diselesaikan, just bring it on, i said.

Tapi somehow, ada sedikit rasa miss dibalik semua euphoria excitable itu. Mungkin pada akhirnya aku jadi mengabaikan rasa sakit yang kependam di balik semua aktivitas yang buru-buru dilakukan. Lebih tepatnya jadi apatis pada diri sendiri. Mungkin bukan yang ada di luar, tapi lebih ke dalam lagi. Aku mengabaikan rasa lelah, lapar, rasa sedih, kecewa. Cenderung ke mentally mungkin ya. Beberapa ada yang bagus untuk diabaikan, memaksa diri sendiri untuk maju. Akibatnya ketika sedikit diam, semua yang terpendam pelan-pelan merangkak keluar. Bikin semua hal jadi nggak enak.

Apa yang harus dilakukan? untuk kembali bersemangat tanpa harus memaksa diri sendiri untuk kembali menjahati diri sendiri? Apa harus untuk kabur, bersenang-senang dan nggak tau kapan harus kembali?

people makes mistakes, but actually, we don't have to wait until Id comes every year to apologizing and forgiving cause we can do it everyday. Let's be a better person :)

Acara Baik

Hai, apa kabar? Semoga semua sehat-sehat, ya :)

Beberapa hari mendatang akan diadakan acara bertajuk "Fun way charity" oleh organisasi amal kami, Indonesian Youth Motion. Judulnya pasar amal. Semacam festival bazaar dan garage sale, yang ada akustik dan beberapa sub acara menyenangkan. 

Mendadak memang, mengingat beberapa hari lagi bulan puasa usai dan lebaran. Tapi semua tetap semangat, fokus karena tujuan baik kami dan mumpung adanya kesempatan bagus yang nggak baik juga buat dilewatkan. 

Bertempat di AIOLA cafe, sebuah cafe lucu di dekat area SMA Komplek Surabaya. Acara ini berlangsung selama 5 hari mulai dari pukul 4 sore hingga 9 malam. Semoga semuanya berjalan dengan baik, ya :)

A Full Week Journey

Hi there. Finally I found time back to blogging again. Phew.

Remember with my latest post? Well yeah, my full week vacation. I'll go make it clearly to you :) 

So me and my bestfriends went to three different cities couple week ago. It was my longest holiday ever  (seriously, EVER in MY entire LIFE). Our first destination was Jakarta. You know? Indonesian's capital city. It's the biggest, the crowded, the rudest city over all cities in Indonesia. You can find everything here, but you have to match the time if you don't want get stuck into the traffic jam. Trust me, if you want to go outside which is quite far from where you stand, you have to go really early or you'll be stuck on your vehicles for hours. 

But in Jakarta, you can find much good places to visit. At first we came here, we went to Dia - Lo - Gue Art space. Like the other art spaces, we found a lot of art stuff here. Everything looks great and well designed. They sold notes, fancy papers, tote bags, t-shirts, design books, and so on. We really lucky to saw an architecture exhibition which held by one art institute in Jakarta.

Really cool, huh? Then we came into few places like Plaza Indonesia and enjoy the great taste pancake there at Pancious restaurant and walked at Aksara book store. We also visited ITC Mangga Dua, Seaworld, Semanggi plaza (where I tasted my first burger king and wasn't got really surprised with its flavour :| ), and Pasar Senen (where we found some cool 2ndhand stuffs there)

Our 2nd destination was Bandung. It took 2-3 hours from Jakarta with car. It was my 3rd visit to Bandung since my last trip when I still 17th years old. Yeah, it's been a long time, I know. We visited a lot of great places too. At first we came to Paris Van Java, it's a big mall with cool decorations and architectures and we watched The Amazing Spiderman at Blitz megaplex.  

Then we went to Selasar Sunaryo's Artspace, and its cafe, Kopi Selasar. It's a cool place nearby with dago where you can enjoy the art exhibitions or just hanging out with your friends at its cafe.

Then, we also visited Maja House and Sugar & Cream rooftop cafe at sersan bajuri. It's a beautiful place and resto where you can enjoy your meals while watch a peaceful landscape. 

Then, we visited Lawangwangi Art Space, so far from where we stay, but yeah it was worth so much. It's a cool art space where you can enjoy the balance of nature and art so well. Fortunately, we came right when Incomplete Project Exhibition being held. So, yeah, we enjoyed it a lot.

We also went to Nanny's Pavillon (A Thematic cafe, I think. They have a few version of theme for cafe's decoration), it was library theme. The decorations and food utilities are cute, and vintage (so old school). 

Then we also went to Ciwalk (Cihampelas Walk) and Rumah Mode where there lies a lot of factory outlets. And we stop by at an Indian shop where they sell a lot of leather bags, Indians hat, dream catcher and all of Indian's stuff. I bought one cute dream catcher.

And our last destination was Jogjakarta. We went from Bandung to Jogja by train, and it took almost 5 hours trip to get there. We visited ArtJog which is a big art exhibition with a lot of artworks from different artists in Indonesia.

Jogjakarta is a great place to visit, everything were so amazing. The buildings, the streets, the arts, the weather. Ahh, I really love being there, though we only have one day to spent there but I satisfied, indeed. 

Quick Artwork

Hi! It's been a long time since my last post.

I was so busy taking a full week vacation and made some scrapbooks for exhibition at Wisma Ahmad Yani. Well, it was Pandawa's and I just gave a hand to my sister. I only took this exhibition for 2 days, but it wasn't really crowded like a year before, and as always I accompanied by my sister's crew (whose different than before) but he was alright. Mas Bani, they usually called him. He's so funny and Sinyo and I were have a good time with him.

Ah, back to scrapbook, I had bad times for making these scrapbooks. My sister bought me 3 frames at Framous, and they were all lovely. I made them 2 days right before exhibition started, and that was not enough at all. I have to stayed all night long just to finished them, even I was sleepy but I ignored it. And My sister went to Jember right when the exhibition held. That was a perfect timing! Haha!

Thank God the first day of exhibition, it wasn't really crowded like I thought. Honestly I really tired, and I have to pack my bags cause the next day I went to Jakarta for a long trip with my friends. Well yeah, the great part is the exhibition (for a week) perfectly success and My sister were happy for scrapbooks that I made.

Right Inside My Brain

Yesterday I saw many kind of happiness.

They were coming from different directions, giving me some strength to through my day. Like when I met a kid with his small house. He never taste a good lifestyle just like me, but do you know? he sincerely smiling to everything that he saw. He always satisfied and really grateful for everything that he got.

And I feel warm with his attitudes, he teach me something. He just an ordinary kid, not older than my niece, but he gave me a lot of things to think about.

Where the happiness coming from? Frequently I asking myself.

If a kid like him could smiling as free as he could, why couldn't I? Sometimes I feel empty, never feel enough. But then this kid just like slap me right on my heart. Not literally, but it's aching my deepest heart. Why a small thing like thanking become really hard to do?

I've got to change myself.

Thinking that outside there're still much more people like that desperately living, but still having a sincere heart to warming their cold house, giving me a push to keep trying harder and thanking to God for every good things God gave to me.

Reviewing: Cool British

Well, this cafe named Stilrod. It's a new cafe with cool decorations about British. Lumayan jauh dari kosan, jadi jarang banget mampir situ. Kebetulan foto-foto ini diambil saat pembukaan kafe. Pembukaannya rame banget, buat bisa masuk pun harus reservasi dulu.

Kafe ini masuk kategori mid-high class, jadi buat kamu yang berbudget nggak seberapa, nggak recommended, deh. Yang asik dari kafe ini bisa dilihat dari dekorasi dan interiornya yang nggak biasa. Bisa dibilang semacam all out banget. Semua pelayannya pakai vest dan topi bowler hitam yang lucu, khas kitsch british banget. Di sana juga ada phone box merah cuma buat dekorasi depan kafe.

Tempatnya cozy dan asik banget, meski pilihan menunya nggak banyak-banyak. Mungkin karena masih baru, jadi untuk menu pun nggak seberapa beragam.

Tapi, buat tempat pemotretan atau kamu pengen kongkow dengan budget di atas rata-rata, tempat ini bisa dijadikan pilihan. Nggak rugi, deh.
